Christmas 2019: “Support for children with cancer”

We at the IT-Personalberatung Dr. Dienst & Wenzel GmbH & Co.KG were deeply touched by the voluntary work of the association “Gänseblümchen-Voerde e. V. (Lower Rhine Region)” to support children with cancer. This is why we decided that this year’s donation goes to this association in the hope that our generous donation will bring joy to the children.

Instead of sending Christmas presents to our clients, the IT-Personalberatung decided to support needy children and adolescents in the local environment of our company or its subsidiaries, in this case in the Lower Rhine Region.

On the Saturday before the first Advent, the 21st Christmas market organized by the “LEBENSHILFE Dinslaken e. V.” took place in Dinslaken on the premises of the “Albert-Schweitzer-Einrichtungen GmbH”. Tobias Modrzejewski (chairman) and Peter Kant (vice treasurer) gladly accepted our donation at the stall of the “Gänseblümchen-Voerde e. V.”. Sonja Groell-Archut, one of the partners at the IT-Personalberatung, handed over a symbolic check for EUR 1000 to the chairman and the vice treasurer of the “Gänseblümchen-Voerde e.V.” in this festive atmosphere.

Why did we choose the “Gänseblümchen-Voerde e.V.” this year? Ms. Sonja Groell-Archut explains:

As a personnel consultancy in the IT sector, we make it a priority to support sick children and adolescents in order to bring some joy into their lives, help them to recharge their batteries and to overcome obstacles, e.g. with regard to their professional orientation. “Gänseblümchen-Voerde e.V.” supports children with cancer in many ways:

• Financial support of research projects
• Full or partial cost coverage for medical aids not covered by the health insurance
• Recreational trips and leisure activities for sick children and their families
• Purchases for children's oncology wards
• Yearly fundraiser “Get Your Bid in”
• Activities in children's oncology wards, e.g. cooking, baking and crafting

Mr. Tobias Modrzejewski (chairman) and Mr. Peter Kant (vice treasurer) were very happy about the generous donation of the IT-Personalberatung Dr. Dienst & Partner and personally thanked the bearer, Ms. Sonja Groell-Archut (partner at the IT-Personalberatung), at their Christmas market stall.
