A review of the 70th anniversary of BDU (Federal Association of German Management Consultancies)
The membership of BDU is not only an honor for IT-Personalberatung, but also an obligation to live the values and standards of the association in its daily work. ‘We are proud to be part of a network that is committed to the further development of the industry and promotes the beneficial exchange between members,’ says Manfred Wenzel, Managing Partner of IT-Personalberatung.
The anniversary year came to an end on the third and fourth of December 2024 celebrating a gala at the German Consultants' Day in Berlin. Manfred Wenzel: ‘We greatly appreciate the membership and the support in many areas, which is why we would like to congratulate the BDU on its 70th anniversary.”
The BDU has been representing the interests of the consulting industry in politics, business and society for 70 years. Incidentally, the term ‘management consultant’ was created by the BDU in 1954.
Around 70 personnel service providers that focus on the search, selection and recruitment of managers and specialists are currently organized in the association of personnel consultants. Founded in the 1970s, the association is currently the largest group of experts within the BDU.
Manfred Wenzel: “The intensive exchange of experience in the association of recruitment consultants supports our endeavors to meet constantly new challenges in filling demanding management, sales and specialist it positions.
